Description:
AWS EC1 Cast iron electrode (Z208) is low carbon steel core, strong graphitization coating of cast iron electrode. Weld in the slow cooling can become gray cast iron. But crack performance is poor. Can be ac/dc, the price is cheap.
Application:
Gray cast iron weld defects.

Note:
1.Small thin wall casting steel degree is not part of the defect, can not preheating filler, and the general welding parts need to preheat to 400 , keep slow cooling after welding, the welding repair place possible in machining.
2. For stress and impact, and other important casting structure, unfavorable use this
electrode.
3. Welding prior to 150 for 1 h.
